Born in Bulgaria, Elena Baramova graduates opera singing at the National Academy of Music Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia, into the class of Professor Konstanza Vatchkova. Later on she specializes at “Boris Christoff” Academy in Rome, Italy where she studies with Mirella Parutto.

Since 2001 Elena Baramova continued her studies under the guidance of Ghena Dimitrova. In 2001 - 2002 she participated in concerts with Ghena Dimitrova in Bulgaria, Vienna, Prague and Budapest.

The young artist won various prizes at prestigious international competitions: International competitionJulian Gaiare” - Pampolna with producer Jose Carreras, laureate of the International CompetitionHristo Brambarov”, First Prize Winner for the best performance of Hungarian and Bulgarian songs - Hungarian Cultural Institute in Sofia, Second Prize Winner at the International Opera CompetitionRijeka Belcanto” at Croatian National Theatre Rijeka.

Elena Baramova performed at Sofia National Opera with Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Elvira in Ernani, Minnie in La fanciulla del West, Tosca, Turandot and Norma.

"Elena Baramova, the non-Egyptian of this year’s two Aida’s, pitched her high,crystal voice above the others."

Elena Baramova performed as Lady Macbeth in Verdi's Macbeth at Grosses Festspielhaus Salzburg - Austria, Teatro Principal de Alicante - Spain, Teatr Wielki Łodz - Poland and in a touring productions through the Netherlands, Belgium and Japan.

On the concert platform Elena Baramova was a guest soloist with Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa Japan, Orchestra of the Conservatory of Bern at Arènes d’Avenches - Switzerland, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra - Bulgaria. She performed in a Concert - 100th anniversary of the birth of Boris Christoff at Maison de l’UNESCO in Paris, France and participated in Italienische Operngala in Bad Ems, Germany. 

Most recently in season 2016/2017 Elena Baramova performed as Turandot at Teatr Wielki Łodz - Poland and XXVI Festiwalu im. Adama Didura - Sanok, Poland; Aida at Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen - Belgium, production of Teatro di San Carlo, Napoli - Italy; Elisabetta in Don Carlos at National Theatre Belgrade - Serbia; Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana at Open-air Opera Festival "Stage of the Ages" - Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.

Future plans in season 2017/2018 include Puccini's Turandot (title role) at Teatr Wielki Łodz - Poland.
